A Fresh Look at The Bible. (Bible in an Hour-Blogger)

It’s Time for the Bible to be heard in every Nation of the World!

Not only to discuss how interesting the 10 Commandments are; nor in telling folk about how the Parables are socially relevant to us in this day and age. Certainly, The Bible is all of the above and more!

The uniqueness of the Bible is that it speaks to YOU and me where ever He finds us. And when we make Him our Heavenly Father He covers us with His love and begins a work of Restoration - beginning with our heart’s. What then follows is a supernatural process of Restoring to us all that was lost because of The Fall!

And it all happens at the Cross.

OLD TESTAMENT Creation Song Big Bang, small bang, even without a bang; Darwin’s theory of Evolution - Ooh - come out, come out, come out of the darkness. Ooh - into the Way, the Truth, the Life. Ginseng, transcend, drive yourself around the bend! With old age, New Age, looking for another Sage - Ooh - come on, come out, come out of the darkness. Ooh - into the Way, the Truth, the Life. Day 5 - All creatures great and small. Day 6 - And on the sixth day God created Man. Neurophysics, Metaphysics, waiting for the latest fix; with Holism, Quantism, downright Hedonism! Ooh - come out, come out, come out of the darkness. Ooh - into the Way, the Truth, the Life. Harem, scar'um, space-time continuum; Dowsing, searching, esoteric cataclysm! Ooh - come out, come out, come out of the darkness. Ooh - into the Way, the Truth, the Life. Chorus Day 1 - Divided the light from darkness. Day 2 - The Heavens from Earth. Day 3 - The land and the sea brought forth her fruit. Day 4 - The light of the Sun and the stars. Day 5 - All creatures great and small. Day 6 - And on the sixth day God created Man. Eve’s Song A garden enclosed, a fountain of water is my love, and into your groves of incense and mhyr I will come love. Lord what You have given, is more precious than diamonds and pearls, a gift sent from Heaven, and I know that I love you and I always will - I will, I will, I will. Set me a seal upon your sweet heart, O my love, for our love is strong, it’s as strong as death, it’s forever. It’s flames are of fire, many waters they cannot quench. Your love takes me higher, and I know that I’ll soar with you all of my days - I will, I will, I will. I give thanks for the wife of my youth, and I know that I’ll always sing this song for you - I will, I will, I will. Instrumental break. Come take of my hand now, we will walk and talk with our God. No need to understand now, I just know that I love you and I always will - I will, I will, I will. A garden enclosed, a fountain of water is my love ...... It’s Alright What’s that you say you don’t need to try, How will you ever know. Don’t need to ask the question why, Trust me and I will show. Listen if you want to fly, you will see for miles. Reach out you will not surely die, What’s the point in self-denial. Chorus It’s alright, just a bite, take a bite, it’s alright, I will open your eyes. It’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright, Live free - there is no price. Listen you’ve got to live to learn, You’ve got to eat to taste. How are you going to feel the burn, No risk, no return. Chorus It’s alright, just a bite, take a bite, it’s alright, You will be as God. It’s alright, just a bite, take a bite, it’s alright, Suddenly the World is yours. Instrumental Break What’s the point in self-denial... Chorus It’s alright, just a bite, take a bite, it’s alright, I will open your eyes. It’s alright, just a bite, take a bite, it’s alright, Live free, there is no price. Noah’s Song Old Noah was a goer, He couldn’t work any slower, he had to build that boat in time to save himself, his sons and wife from dying. God gave him a warning, end times are-a-coming, “I’m gonna flood this world gone wrong, I’m gonna make it rain for forty days long”. This old man Noah tried, to do, what God had said, everyone from round about said, “This old man is losing his head”. Heaven knows it’s a pressure, to build a boat in the desert, with only sons and wife on hand and verywhere you look there’s montains of sand. But old Noah had a vision, even though it did’nt please ‘em, He kept them working day and night to do exactly what he knew was right. Then God gave him a word and said , “Now you will find, that unto you will come every bird, every animal after their kind”. Ba, ba, ba, ba, .... He cried unto his God, “ Now, what shall I do?”, “Take two of every kind,” He said, “and lead ‘em on board two by two”. Old Noah got ‘em all in, just as the rain came-a-pourin’; it rained and rained all day and night ‘till every tree, every hill, was out of sight. At home on the inside, safe and sound from the rising tide, Old Noah and his family went about their work as glad as can be. How gracious God He was, who’d set them apart, and that from Noah’s seed, this world would begin a brand new start. Ten months they were drifting, when the boat hit a mountain, it came to rest there on its side, and gradually the waters did subside. Finally there was dry ground, looking out and Noah found, every trace of life they’d known, the waters that God sent had overthrown. Then God said “leave the boat and - you shall not die; both you and every animal shall go forth and multiply”. Abraham’s Song Now Abraham was a Righteous man, Chosen by God for His purpose and plan. God led him from his home to another land. From you, God said, will a Nation arise, A people as many as the stars in the skies. And I will bless your name above all names. Because you have loved me, Because you’ve believed me, I’ll give you a son in your old age. Because you have loved me, Because you followed me, I’ll give you this land for all ways... David’s Song King David was Shepherd boy, Who played the harp as he sang for joy, Sang praises to the Name of his Living God. From this young boy God made a King, The greatest King they had ever seen, All Israel loved and served and followed him. But in his heart he knew the only thing, The love God had for him. Just like a child trusting in his fathers plans King David let God take his hand. NEW TESTAMENT John The Baptist Hear the voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight”. “Repent!” he said “Repent!. For the Kingdom of Heaven’s at hand”. And all the people ‘round about came to see him. Chorus King of Glory, Prince of Peace. The One to come. Saviour of the fallen man, the Son of God. He is the Christ, the Everlasting One, The Lamb of God. Come Jesus come... I Will Follow Suddenly, there He was, this man who the wise men worshipped, Jesus who was born in Bethlehem. There was I, with my boats and nets, why do you think He chose me. Now it seems that I’m a fisher of men - never to be the same again. I will follow You, all the day’s of my life. Follow you... I can safely say my friend, it’s not what you call a career job. There I was, lying in my bed, ill, O my poor head, well at least a break from things to do. My son came in, with this man who touched me, the fever left me. Now I’m busier it’s just not true - some men they haven’t got a clue. But I will follow You, all the day’s of my life. Follow you... I can truly tell you that it was not your average kind of day. La de da break... I will follow You, all the day’s of my life. Follow you... I will never understand this calling, so don’t ever ask me why. Follow you! Have You Heard? Have you heard what they’re saying ‘bout Jesus Christ of Nazereth? Have you heard that He heals sick folk on the Sabbath? Have you heard the outrage of the Priests? Have you heard what they call Him in the streets? Have you heard...? Have you heard the claims of this Jesus to be the Son of God? Have you heard His claims to set us free - this chosen One? Have you heard they call it blasphemy? Have you heard other’s say it cannot be? Have you heard....? Have you heard the tales of miracles and parables? Have you heard them say He cannot be infallible? Have you heard some say He is a hoax? Have you heard other’s say He is the most? Have you heard...? Have you heard the cheek of this Man entertaining sinners? Have you heard even publicans invite Him round for dinners? Have you heard the anger in the courts? Have you heard ‘to trial He must be brought - this Jesus’! Have you heard...? Have you heard....? Mary’s Song I’ve never known a man like Him before, The things He said burned in my heart. He was at the Pharisees house that night, I knew I had to see Him. Ooh.. so I took the perfume that I’d brought for Him, And although I wasn’t welcome I went into the room, And I fell upon my knees and cried and kissed His feet, And wiped them with my hair... Oh, desperateness and shame in my heart, I knew I was to blame. Nothing could stop the emotion inside. My sin too dark to name. He turned and spoke with love in His voice, How could He speak to me? He said: “Your sins are forgiven today, your faith has set you free!”. Oooh... now the peace that filled my heart I can’t express, As I knelt there on the floor I knew I’d never be the same. For His eyes of kindness I remember, I’ll never forget the look upon His face. Chorus How wonderful You are, How loving are You ways Lord. How marvellous You are, You saw into my heart. You knew from the very start, My sins are wiped away, how can I repay...? How merciful You are, You broke the chains and set me free. How beautiful you are, This world gives only pain, But now I live again. My shame is washed away, How can i repay...? Saviour King Jesus You came willing gave your life for us all, You suffered on the Cross to save us from man’s fall. The devil thought he’d ruined you, his tyranny would remain But You overcame his power and You came alive again. Oh, you are the Saviour King, You have overcome our sin. John The Baptist (Reprise) Chorus King of Glory, Prince of Peace. The One to come. Saviour of the fallen man, the Son of God. He is the Christ, the Everlasting One, The Lamb of God. Come Jesus come... Have You Heard? (Reprise) Have you heard about Jesus Christ who died and rose again? Have you heard that He’s living right here in the hearts of men? Have you heard about miracles in His name? Have you heard how He heals the sich and the lame? Have you heard...? Have you heard the Pharisees they still just can’t believe it’s true? Have you heard that confronted with these Christians they don’t know what to do? Have you heard they can’t hold back the tide? Have you heard of the good news far and wide? Have you heard...?
